vegetables, injuries.

deb, over at smitten kitchen, blogged at one point (a few months back now) about the size of her boy, jacob, in the context of vegetables. i believe at this point, he was a squash of some sort.

i know that these measurements exist for children (when they are 17 weeks in utero, they’re about the size of an avacodo), but do they exist for injuries?

seriously. i sprained my ankle tonight, and it’s swollen about the size of a large bing cherry. but, when i gave myself a soft tissue injury (elbow), it was the size of a clementine. my kneecap, when i shifted it? an apple.

either way, my ankle hurts. hopefully, it won’t get much bigger than a kumquat.
